Taught Begining Bharata Natyam and Begining Modern / Postmodern Dance

In both classes I incorporated core principles of Yoga and Batenieff Fundamentals via a non-conventional teaching methodology and curriculum that I developed.

Shakti School of Bharata Natyam, Dance Instructor (1995 - 2003)

Taught students of all ages begining through advanced levels of this South Indian Classical Dance form, under the direction of Viji Prakash. I also trained students preparing for their solo dance debuts.

Shakti Dance Camp, Instructor (1999 - 2000)

Taught warm-up sequences through Yoga based movements and Bharata Natyam fundamentals in preparation for the guest teachers in residence.

California Institute of the Arts, Dance Instructor (1998 - 1999)

Instructor of begining Bharata Natyam, which was open to all majors in the Art Institute.

Private Dance Instruction (1998 - 1999)

Taught private classes twice a week
